Dearest Family,
We are so blessed! We have every reason in the world to be happy. God
has blessed us so much, and I know He will continue to bless us and to
guide our individual lives. My heart is so full. I love being a
missionary.
As I think about the blessings in my life, I see the faces of many
people. You are all so special to me, and I love you so much. This
will never change. God has blessed me with a special love for the
people here in Japan. My heart has grown, and I love them all so much.
I couldn't imagine my life without any of them.
This week has been amazing! I have felt the Lord working close with us
as we have strived to figure out what He would have us do in
Senzokuike. We've seen amazing miracles and met amazing people. I
could spend forever telling you about the amazing things that happen
every week. However, the thought that continues to flood through my
mind is that God is constantly preparing us for the next step in our
lives. I've definitely felt the reality of this as we have met people
this week and taught them. God teaches us through other people
sometimes, and in my case, more than not. I'm so grateful for the
Lord's tender mercies in my life, and especially for this past week as
I have felt his hand and direction in my life. I know He is constantly
guiding us. Everything happens for a reason.
Starting tomorrow, I will be traveling to Koiwa and to Matsudo with
Sister Camille Clark to visit people who I have loved and taught over
the past 19 months. I will also be staying at the Honbu, working
closely with President and Sister Nagano. I'm looking forward to being
so close to them and hearing their testimonies again. They are amazing
people and I love them so much.
I know this church is true. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of
God. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet. I know Thomas S. Monson is our
living prophet today. I know our Heavenly Father is mindful of us. He
loves us with a perfect love. Everything He has ever done has been for
our benefit. His Plan is perfect and Jesus Christ is the center of It
all. I know it is only through Jesus Christ that we are able to return
to live with God again. Jesus Christ is our perfect example. He is our
strength. He is our Older Brother and He loves us with a perfect love.
He understands us. He forgives us. I know He loves all of you and will
continue to reach out to you in the way you need to be reached. His
grace is sufficient for all of us. I know He will continue to help as
we strive to overcome our weaknesses and, one day, become like him.
This is why we live, and this is why we strive everyday to come closer
to Him.

and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."
